Nothing drives straight to the ego of man faster than the subject of his eternal destiny. He wants to believe he is in control, the captain of his own destiny. Why, it’s a matter of a person decision and I can make it at any time. But what if you had been born 300 hundred years ago, in the South Pacific, and you lived and died having never heard the Gospel? Are you automatically doomed to eternal fire? Most of the religious world would say God has a special circumstance wherein He saves you in that situation because you haven’t heard the Gospel.
